South Side Community Coalition Senior Employment Opportunities

Seniors needed to work at South Side ASAP!

The South Side Community Coalition has positions open for seniors over age 60 who are interested in working with children or other seniors in the South Side Community Garden.  In order to qualify for the paid program you must have income within 125% of the federal poverty guildeline.

As part of the program you will receive:

• Free Training through the Master Gardener Program including a Master Gardener Certification
• Non-taxable hourly pay
• Paid Vacations, Sick Days, and Holidays
• Free transportation to and from the South Side Center

Seniors can start the application process now to start working with us in January.  During the summer months you will be able to work in our garden, lead classes with 4-H children, and teach your gardening skills to other seniors.
